In this episode of FEAR NOT, novelist James Horton shares a story of facing his fear of failure. Listen into this conversation and you will learn:

  • There is no point in life, if your not happy.
  • If you focus on your goal, you’ll be too busy to be afraid.
  • Reading The 10X Rule by Grant Cardone can help you create the life you want.

James Horton’s lifelong dream was to be a writer. He wrote and told stories as a child but then life became real. He worked in retail for most of his life including managing fast food restaurants before opening his own retail business that he built into a very successful endeavor. None of that work was satisfying to him though. It was work.

In June 2014, he wrote a short book about his relationship with his wife called Be Happy, as well as 12 Steps to a Happy Relationship.

Finally, he followed up with his first fiction story published and hasn’t looked back since. He’s since written and published 70 novels and makes his living as a full-time author.
